Daniela Roma graduated cum laude in Piano Performance from the Conservatorium       “F. Torrefranca” in Vibo Valentia, Italy.

She attended masterclasses with Aquiles Delle Vigne at the Internationale Sommerakademie Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, and with renowned teachers such as Daniel Rivera, Gabriel Kwok, and Choon-Mo Kang.

Under the guidance of Professor Aquiles Delle Vigne, she earned a Master’s Degree with highest honors in Piano Performance from the Hogeschool voor Muziek, University of Professional Education in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

She also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in DAMS (Department of Arts, Music and Performance) with highest honors from the University of Calabria, Italy, with a thesis on Synesthesia in Aleksandr Scriabin and Vasilij Kandinskij.

Daniela has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician

For Phoenix Classics, she recorded the piano works of Alfonso Rendano

 (world premiere recording).

With the chamber ensemble of the Conservatorium F. Torrefranca (Vibo Valentia, Italy) and pianist Roberto Galletto, she recorded The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns for the label Metis Film (Monte Porzio, Italy).

She also recorded a CD with the Modus String Quartet for Digressione Music, featuring Rendano’s Quintet for Piano and Strings and solo piano works.

For the Dynamic record label, Daniela recorded Scriabin: Visionary and Poet, a CD featuring the early works of the Russian composer Aleksandr Nikolaevič Scriabin. The recording received enthusiastic critical acclaim and was reviewed by prestigious American and European music magazines,

as well as Swiss Italian Radio and Vatican Radio.

She also made the world premiere live recording of Alfonso Rendano’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra with the Oldenburg State Orchestra for Dynamic Records.

Daniela Roma maintains an intense concert activity in both the United States and Europe, with performances that often include the music of the Calabrian composer Alfonso Rendano, of whom she is considered the leading interpreter worldwide.
